Buffy alum to head new Daredevil series

Drew Goddard is in the final stages of negotiating a deal to be showrunner and head writer on the Netflix and Disney new ”Daredevil” series.

Goddard gives a lot of hope to those who were unsure about the new marvel project. He comes from the school of Joss Whedon, having gotten his start on ‘Buffy: The Vampire Slayer’ and co-wrote the much loved horror film ‘Cabin in the Woods’ with Whedon. He also wrote for the cult TV shows ‘Lost’ and ‘Alias’ with J.J. Abrams. Most recently he wrote the screenplay for the Brad Pitt helmed ‘World War Z’.

“Daredevil” is one of several new comic book-related series Marvel have teamed with Netflix on.
