“Pitch Perfect” writer Kay Cannon will make her directorial debut on “The Pact”, a comedy that follows three parents who discover that their daughters have made a pact to lose their virginities on prom night, and go on a mission to try and stop them before it is too late.
Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and James Weaver produce alongside “American Reunion” helmers Jon Hurwitz & Hayden Schlossberg and Chris Fenton, with Nathan Kahane, Joe Drake and Chris Cowles acting as executive producers.
Eben Russell will rewrite a script he penned with Hurwitz, Schlossberg and brothers Brian and Jim Kehoe.
Cannon will pull double duty next year, she’s also writing the third instalment of the “Pitch Perfect” franchise.
