Carloni to co-direct Kung Fu Panda 3

Alessandro Carloni has been brought in to co-direct “Kung Fu Panda 3” with Jennifer Yuh, according to Deadline.

Yuh, who was the first woman to direct an animated feature solo at a Hollywood studio when she helmed 2011’s ”Kung Fu Panda 2”, lobbied for Carloni to share helming duties on the sequel.

Having two directors on the production will see that the March 18, 2016 release is finished in a timely manner.
