Casey Affleck sprints into Boston marathon bombing movie

Casey Affleck will star in “Boston Strong”, Lionsgate’s chronicle of the tragic Boston marathon bombing, says Variety.

While it’s not confirmed who Affleck is playing, the film will fix largely on Jeff Bauman, a survivor who, despite losing his legs on the day, aided in the hunt to catch those responsible for the horrible act.

The project was initially announced in July.
