Lullaby

Garrett Hedlund, Richard Jenkins, Jessica Brown Findlay, Jennifer Hudson, Terrence Howard and Amy Adams have joined the cast of Andrew Levitas’s debut feature. “Filled with considerable comedic beats, LULLABY explores the power of life, its transformative moments and reconnections between loved ones. Estranged from his family, Jonathan (Hedlund) receives word that his father, Robert (Jenkins), who has been fighting illness for over a decade has chosen to take himself off life support in less than forty-eight hours. What follows is an unexpected journey of love, laughter, and forgiveness.” (Collider)

“A Most Wanted Man”

The always-busy Rachel McAdams (“The Vow”, the upcoming “About Time”) is joining Philip Seymour Hoffman for the adaptation of the John le Carre novel, which will be directed by Anton Corbijn. “Andrew Bovell adapted the screenplay, which takes place in present-day Hamburg, Germany, where a mysterious, near-dead half-Chechen, half-Russian man on the run arrives in the city’s Islamic community desperate for help and looking to recover his late Russian father’s ill-gotten fortune. Hoffman will play chief of a covert German spy unit who works to solve the mystery of the man’s identity. McAdams will play a woman who becomes involved in the international intrigue.” (THR)
