Casting : Kingsley, Larson, Hiddleston, Qualley, Delevingne

In a host of casting news overnight, Ben Kingsley and Brie Larson will join Daniel Radcliffe in “Brooklyn Bridge” while Legendary Entertainment’s King Kong pic “Skull Island” has tapped Tom Hiddleston. Meanwhile, Ryan Gosling and Russel Crowe will likely be joined by Margaret Qualley in “The Nice Guys” and Cara Delevingne is in talks to play the female lead in “Paper Towns.”
So, where to start.

Kingsley and Larson are joining the cast of Radcliffe’s “Brooklyn Bridge” – a film based on true events about the building of, you guessed it, the Brooklyn Bridge.
Radcliffe will play Washington Roebling, a brilliant but inexperienced engineer who is left to oversee the construction of the bridge when his father (Kingsley) passes away. His obsession with the project becomes so intense it begins to threaten his health and his family life until his wife (Larson) steps in.
Douglas McGrath is helming the pic with production set to kick off next year.

“Avengers” actor Hiddleston has been picked up to star in “Skull Island” with Jordan Vogt-Roberts tapped to helm.
The film looks at the origins of King Kong, set in his mysterious and dangerous world. “Godzilla” scribe Max Borenstein penned the first draft of the script.
While little is known of the film at this point, we do know that it has already been slated to hit cinemas on November 4, 2016.

“The Leftovers’” Qualley is in talks to join Gosling and Crowe starer “The Nice Guys”, Variety reports.
Shane Black is directing the crime drama which is set in Los Angeles in the 1970s.
Gosling plays down-on-his-luck private eye Holland March who teams with hired leg-breaker Jackson Healy (Crowe) to solve the case of a missing girl and the seemingly unrelated death of a porn star. However the duo uncover a much bigger, shocking conspiracy that concerns the highest circles of power.
“The Nice Guys” was recently appointed a June 17, 2016 release.

And finally, model-turned-actress Delevingne is in talks to join Nat Wolff in the film adaptation of John Green’s “Paper Towns”.
Jake Schreier is helming for Fox 2000 and Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber (who adapted Green’s other book “The Fault in our Stars”) are penning the script.
Wolff and Delevingne will play two young neighbours, Quentin and Margo, who begin to grow apart after the confronting experience of discovering the body of a man who committed suicide. However one night, Margo persuades Quentin to assist in her quest to get revenge on the people that have hurt. The next day, however, Margo disappears and Quentin is left to decipher the clues to find her.
