Alexander Ludwig (“The Hunter Games”) is joining Anthony Hopkins, Julia Stiles, and Ray Liotta in “Go With Me”, a Pacific Northwest thriller from Daniel Alfredson (”The Girl Who Played With Fire,” ”The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet’s Nest”). “The picture centers on a young woman, newly returned to her hometown, who becomes the subject of harassment by a local crimelord and turns to an ex-logger (Hopkins) and his laconic young sidekick (Ludwig) for help.” (Deadline)

Paul Wesley (“The Vampire Diaries”) is set for the science-fiction pic “Convergence”, ”a college-age ensemble piece in the vein of Flatliners, The Matrix, and Fight Club based on real life “science fact”. It follows a group of underground biotech engineers, including an MIT student wunderkind, exploring a new technology far beyond their expectations and beyond the limits of human control.” Filming is scheduled for next spring in Shanghai and Atlanta. Shailene Woodley is in talks to star in Oliver Stone’s Edward Snowden film. Woodley would play Snowden’s (played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt) girlfriend in the pic, which is due to begin filming in Germany in January. Stone’s film is based on the books ”The Snowden Files” and ”Time of the Octopus”. (THR)
