Kristen Stewart and Chloe Sevigny are in talks to headline psychological thriller about Lizzie Borden, who was acquitted in 1892 for the axe murders of her father and stepmother.
Pieter Van Hees is directing from a script by Bryce Kass.
Should the deals come off, Sevigny will play Borden and Stewart will play Bridget Sullivan, the Bordens’ live-in maid who testified at the trial.
Alison Brie and Gretchen Mol will join Gerard Butler, Willem Dafoe and Alfred Molina in workplace drama “The Headhunter’s Calling.”
