Geena Davis has joined the cast of Fox’s reboot of “The Exorcist”.
The TV version of the iconic horror “is a serialized psychological thriller following two very different men tackling one family’s case of horrifying demonic possession and confronting the face of true evil. Davis will play Angela Rance, who is described as regal and proud, but weighed down by stress. She does everything she can to stay positive and keep her faith even though her family is currently struggling. She can’t help but think if perhaps her nightmares about a demon are a sign of what’s wrong” (via Variety).
Alfonso Herrera and Ben Daniels star as the lead priests with fellow series regulars Brianne Howey, Hannah Kasulka and Kurt Egyiawan.
Former NFL All-Pro Tony Gonzalez is the latest addition to the cast of Vin Diesel starer “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage”.
Deepika Padukone, Ruby Rose, Nina Dobrev, Donnie Yen and Samuel L. Jackson are also in the cast.
The film will release on January 20, 2017.
Craig Robinson has nabbed a recurring guest role on the second season of “Mr. Robot”.
He will play Ray, “a neighborhood local who reaches out to Elliot (Rami Malek) in his time of need” (via Variety).
Joey Bada$$ and Chris Conroy have also joined the cast as recurring stars, and Grace Gummer has come on board as series regular.
