The Razzies – aka The Golden Raspberry Awards- may have sensibly cancelled their live Los Angeles ceremony but they’ve gone out with the winners, anyway.
As expected, “Cats” snagged swept most of the categories, including Worst Picture, Worst Supporting Actor and Actress (James Corden and Rebel Wilson, respectively), Worst On Screen Combo, Worst Screenplay and Worst Director for Tom Hooper.
Other, er, winners this year included “Rambo : Last Blood” for worst remake, rip-off or sequel; two John Travolta flicks “The Fanatic” & “Trading Paint”, nabbing the thesp a ‘Worst Actor’ combo award, and Hilary Duff as Worst Actress for “The Haunting of Sharon Tate”.
Eddie Murphy, a previous Razzie staple, returned to snag a positive award – the Razzie Redeemer Award for his work in “Dolemite is my Name”.
