Black Widow, Spiral and more delayed

Due to the continuing pandemic, more film releases are being postponed.

Disney has, understandably, postponed their big May superhero release “Black Widow” starring Scarlett Johanssen until a later date to be announced. While Lionsgate has postponed “Spiral : From the Book of Saw” (May 15) , Sarah Paulson thriller “Run” (May 8) and “Antebellum” (April 24), from directors Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz.

In addition to “Black Widow” (May 1), the house of Mouse has also delayed a Dev Patel-led drama “The Personal History of David Copperfield” from its Searchlight banner and Amy Adams’ “The Woman in the Window,” a 20th Century title, which were supposed to debut on May 8 and April 15, respectively. No new release dates have been announced for the films.
