7-year-old Charisma Morris reviews Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

The [new] “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” movie is good.

The movie doesn’t start off good, there’s lots of talking and not much happens, but when the Turtles appear and start fighting the bad guys (The Foot) it gets much better. When everyone is quiet and they just kick and punch it is funner.

I liked the snow bits, where the Turtles fight the bad guys [racing down] a mountain, and also the [flashback] bits with the baby Turtles, all curled up in their blankets in their beds, being looked after by their dad Splinter.

My favourite of the Turtles was Mikey – he was funny, cute and the most easy to like.

I guessed who the bad guy (William Ficthner) was straight away, because he was pretending to be nice and doing strange things. I’ve also seen him be a bad guy in other movies so I thought he would probably be doing a bad guy again in this movie and I was right.

It’s good that I am 7 and able to read well because there were some [subtitled] scenes. I read them all myself.

I want to see the next one. Now.

(I believe that’s Charisma’s way of saying the film is worth “Shelling” out the money for – Ed).
