Charlie’s Angels is set to reappear on the big screen, with the reboot being given a June 7, 2019 release date, according to Sony.
The flick will have a woman’s touch to it, with Elizabeth Banks directing. The “Charlie’s Angels” franchise started with the 70s TV show starring the late Farrah Fawcett, and more recently there were 2 films in the 2000s starring Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore as the angels.
No word yet on who the cast will be, but rumours are swirling that the first actress will be Janelle Monae- but as I said, just a rumour at this stage. I’m more interested in who will play Bosley, here’s hoping Banks is able to direct an A-grade hotty for that role.
