The Kris Renkewitz written/directed film is set at the end of World War II and fixes on a soldier (Christensen) and his unit who are dropped behind enemy lines to destroy a secret Nazi weapons facility. It’s there that the unit come face to face with a surprising new enemy : zombies!
Meanwhile, “Furious 7” star Tyrese Gibson has found a home for his long-gestating script “Desert Eagle”. Deadline says the libretto, fixing on a pair of border patrol agents investigate a drug cartel being operated out of a Native American reservation casino, has been picked up by Universal. Matthew Stuecken and Josh Campbell will rewrite Gibson and Mike Le’s script.
