Christina Ricci’s going all Wednesday Addams again.
According to Deadline, the indie queen will play Lizzie Borden in a lifetime movie about the woman who was tried and acquitted in the infamous 1892 murders that claimed the life of her father and stepmother.
Nick Gomez’s movie will chronicle Borden’s trial, and how it drew national attention, but more so, remind us that the case was never solved.
Judith Verno, who executive produced the recent Drew Peterson biopic starring Rob Lowe, retains her position on the Borden film.
