CinemaCon : Jake Johnson to voice Peter Parker in animated Spider-man flick

The animated film “Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse” from Phil Lord and Chris Miller got some screen time at this year’s CinemaCon, with some cool new info coming out of the presentation.

Geektyrant were there to deliver the news, including that “New Girl” star Jake Johnson will be voicing the older/middle-aged Peter Parker. Furthermore, it was revealed that Spidey will come face to face with three villains – Green Goblin, The Kingpin and The Prowler. Possibly more, but those ones are for sure at this stage.

Due out in cinemas December 14th of this year, a full trailer is still yet to be unveiled (see below the teaser released late last year) but the footage shown was reportedly a lot of fun and involves a unique visual style.

The full synopsis for the film:

Enter a universe where more than one wears the mask.
