Just a few bits today, but needless to say a couple of interesting ones, with word on another comic coming to the silver screen, as well as the second blow to Larry Clark’s new film "Ken Park" in Australia in just under two weeks.

  • Producer Mimi Polk Gitlin has inked a deal with Joshua Stern to script "Paper Dragon," a family action-adventure about a boy and his ancient Chinese warrior pal.

  • Revolution Studios has optioned the comic "Zoom’s Academy for the Super Gifted" from Jason Lethcoe for Team Todd and Underground Films to produce.

  • James Cromwell and Bruce Greenwood have joined the cast of “I Robot”. Cromwell plays Dr. Lanning, the eccentric creator of the most advanced robot ever built, while Greenwood plays Lance Robertson, the bullish top exec at U.S.

  • Ben Elton told Micallef Tonight that a feature film version of “Blackadder” is always a possibility – but he says it’d take a long time to eventuate.
