Hot from a sneak peek of footage at CineEurope, Paramount Pictures and Skydance Media’s “Top Gun : Maverick” looks to be doing a fly-over at San Diego Comic Con, too.
While it’s not known what kind of presence the Tom Cruise-starring sequel will have at next month’s fan fiesta, it’s possible that aforesaid footage will screen and considering San Diego’s connections to both the 1986 original and the new sequel, an off-site event might also be on the cards.
According to Deadline, some of the film’s cast members – potentially even Tom Cruise – will be in San Diego at the time, so don’t be at all surprised if something is big is planned.
“Top Gun : Maverick”, directed by Joseph Kosinski, stars Cruise, Val Kilmer, Glen Powell, Jennifer Connelly, Miles Teller, Jon Hamm, Ed Harris, and Lewis Pullman. It opens June 26, 2020.
