Crash Ryan comics get the silver screen treatment

Another Marvel comic is coming to the big screen.

Producer Ryan Heppe has landed the film rights to Ron Harris’ 1984 Marvel Comics series, “Crash Ryan”.

The titular character Crash Ryan is a pilot in a world of super airplanes and giant flying airports. He’s caught up in a battle between the heroic United Airmen and the forces of evil, led by a masked world conqueror who calls himself “the Doom.”

Heppe will pen the script with David Cowper.

“It’s an incredible canvas,” said Heppe. “But what attracted me was the redemption story: a man who can’t save himself being tasked with saving the world.”
