Fox developing Confessions of an Imaginary Friend

Fox Animation is developing Michelle Cuevas’ yet-to-be -released book “Confessions of an Imaginary Friend: A Memoir by Jacques Papier”.

The book, to be published in December, is described as the whimsical autobiography of an imaginary friend who doesn’t know he’s imaginary.

Jacques Papier has the sneaking suspicion that everyone except his sister Fleur hates him – his teachers ignore him in class, he’s never chosen for sports teams, and his parents often need to be reminded to set a place for him at the dinner table. He’s shocked when he finally learns that he’s Fleur’s imaginary friend and convinces Fleur to set him free.

The news comes via Variety.
