D.J. Caruso will return to direct xXx 4, Vin Diesel now co-owner of franchise

Vin Diesel and The H Collective have teamed up to purchase the rights to the the “xXx” franchise, with the fourth instalment also in development.

D.J. Caruso, who helmed “xXx: Return of Xander Cage”, will return to direct “xXx 4” with Diesel reprising his role as extreme sports athlete-turned-reluctant agent Xander Cage.

The aim is to begin production December 2018.

Lord knows why we need another of these films, but hey – it’s happening.
