Daenerys Targaryen hears a Voice from the Stone

“Game of Thrones” star Emilia Clarke is set to star in psychological thriller “Voice From the Stone”.

Shooting will take place in Italy in November under the direction of Eric D. Howell. Andrew Shaw adapted the script from Silvio Raffo’s novel “La voce della pietra”.

The story, set in 1950’s Tuscany, will see Clarke play a nurse who aids a boy through the trauma of his mother’s sudden death. As she works with the boy, she becomes ensnared by a malevolent force inside the family’s castle.

The film, a co-production between Zanuck Independent and Code 39 Films, will be produced by Dean Zanuck and Stefano Gallini-Durante. Mark Wheaton will exec produce.

“Voice From the Stone” will be Howell’s feature directorial debut. He took over from “The Ring” director Hideo Nakata who was previously attached.
