Dallas star Larry Hagman dies aged 81

“Dallas” star Larry Hagman, whose trademark was his big-ass Texan Cowboy hat, has died aged 81.

Hagman passed away due to complications from Cancer.

As most are aware, the actor had recently returned to the air to reprise his “Dallas” role of J.R Ewing for TNT’s rebooted version of the ’80s (though it debuted in 1978) classic.
It’s believed Hagman has filmed part of the season 2 episodes of TNT’s “Dallas”; no word on how the show will explain his absence going forward.

Aside from “Dallas”, Hagman is also known for playing the lead role in classic sitcom “I Dream of Jeannie”.

Hagman’s other credits include “Superman”, “The Eagle has Landed” and “Primary Colors”.

As a “Dallas” fan, I can honestly say the man’s going to leave a huge hole – and not just in Southfork.
