Writer/director Luc Besson’s “Valerian” is set to be released by EuropaCorp on July 21, 2017.
The film stars Dane DeHaan as the time-traveling Valerian and Cara Delevingne as his sidekick Laureline.
Based on Pierre Christin and Jean-Claude Mezieres’ 1967 graphic novel, the story is set in the 28th century when humanity discovers how to time-travel.
Production has been slated to begin at the end of the year.
