Darclight Films (“Bait”, “Wolf Creek 2”) announced today that Lauro Chartrand is aboard “Full Moon”, a new horror feature. The stunt coordinator turned action director recently helmed “Afflicted”, which has been receiving good notices at TIFF.
Darclight Films, the edgy genre-driven label of Arclight Films, one of the world’s leading independent film sales companies with offices in Los Angeles, Sydney, Hong Kong and Beijing announces the acquisition of FULL MOON. The new special f/x horror feature will be directed by Lauro Chartrand who is the action director on AFFLICTED – a film that has been taking TIFF audiences by storm in sold out theatres, and receiving rave reviews.

Chartrand is one of the world’s leading stunt coordinators turned director who is the go-to man for major celebrities wanting to achieve the most realistic and invigorating action sequences. The list includes Tom Cruise for THE LAST SAMURAI, Jackie Chan, and for films like THE TWILIGHT SAGA, THE CABIN IN THE WOODS, and the recently released ELYSIUM starring Matt Damon. A-List producers who have hired Chartrand for action include Steven Spielberg, Ed Zwick, Christopher Nolan and Michael Mann.

FULL MOON will be directed by Lauro Chartrand and produced by Daljit DJ Parmar and Lauro Chartrand. Executive Producer is Jennifer Esquivel, Writer is Nastasha Baron and production companies include DreamChaser Productions and Original Entertainment.
