David Goyer sinks his teeth into Vampire

“Blade Trinity” director returns to the world of vampires

Only a day after the trades announced that Russell Mulcahy would direct a vampire film (see our story on “Zen in the Art of Slaying Vampires” ), comes news that David Goyer (”Blade Trinity”) will return to the world of neck suckers for “Baltimore, or The Steadfast Tin Soldier and the Vampire,” based on the book by Mike Mignola and Christopher Golden. The book’s penners will also write the screenplay.

The graphic novel tells the story of the awakening of supreme evil on Earth. Lord Henry Baltimore is bitten by a demonic vampire bat on a WWI battlefield. The plague destroys his family, and Baltimore creates a team to hunt and fight the Red King, the embodiment of all evil.
