De Palma directing throwback to 70’s paranoia thrillers

The great Brian De Palma (“Body Double”, “Scarface”) will make a triumphant return to film with “They Key Man”, an interesting-enough sounding thriller from writer Joby Harold.

Deadline reports :

QED is financing the movie, about a single father who’s targeted by U.S. government agents because his body contains answers to important national secrets. The style is a throwback to paranoid 70s movies like Three Days of the Condor and Marathon Man.

Rumours are also swirling that De Palma has attached himself to the long-gestating “Untouchables : Capone Rising” project that’s been handballed from one director to another over the years – but I’ll believe it when I see it.
