Campbell plans on using M again
Rather surprisingly, since they’re going ‘younger’, Director Martin Campbell has confirmed that Dame Judi Bench will likely reprise her role as M for the next Bond film.
Following news from the press conference last week that the roles of Q and Moneypenny were missing from the current script, some doubt was thrown on the role of M.
Dench, who appeared as 007’s boss in all four of Pierce Brosnan’s outings, is being coaxed back for “Casino Royale”, Campbell tells http://www.suntimes.com/output/pearlman/cst-ftr-cindy17.html”>The Chicago Sun-Times.
Dench may be the only original Bond star returning for the new film – both Q and Miss Moneypenny have been axed from the next instalment.
