He’s been carrying on like a giant jug of piss over on Twitter about rumours pertaining to his possible “Star Trek 3” appearance, and yet Bad Ass Digest insists William Shatner is a part of the film. Whether Shatner is simply trying to keep that cat firmly in the bag, so it’s a surprise to one and all, or he’s just being a jerk by criticizing journalists – – remains to be seen. Whatever the case, someone needs to be slapped over his fat noggin with that fucking colostomy bag of his.
Devin at Bad Ass Digest says the star of “Shit My Dad Says” (the guy continually refutes his involvement in future “Star Trek” movies but was happy to be a part of this!? No comment) is a lock for “Star Trek 3” and they even have details on the scene he’ll play.
“My sources are now telling me that not only will Shatner be in the movie, his scene will have him meeting Chris Pine. Also in that scene: Zachary Quinto and Leonard Nimoy. But if my sources are steering me correct this won’t be original timeline Spock – it’ll be future alt-timeline Kirk and Spock. Basically the scene will have Kirk and Spock interacting with their future selves.”
Devin’s sources are usually pretty solid, so I’d expect there’s something in this. Shatner tripping himself up by saying a few days ago that he’s been approached by the “Star Trek 3” guys about appearing in the movie, but then declaring yesterday that he hasn’t “spoken to anybody” about it, would point to this scoop carrying more weight than old Kirk.
