Details on two more Spider-Man spin-offs that could be on the way

Sony seem pretty determined to make a whole dang universe out of Peter Parker’s world – especially after the surprise success of “Venom” – that we can pretty much expect a whole barrage of “Spider-Man” spin-offs in the coming years; the next, of course, being Jared Leto-starrer “Morbius”.

The Illuminerdi are reporting today on two of the films Sony may have on it’s to-do list.

Our source explained that Sony has two other lesser-known characters from the Marvel Comics’ world of Spider-Man, Solo and Man-Wolf, in the early stages of development at the studio. As far as we know there isn’t talent attached at this time, but they are on the conveyor belt of production that brought the equally improbable Morbius spin-off film to an unlikely reality.

Solo, first appearing in “Spider-Man” comic books in the ’90s, works as a counter-terrorism operative, and makes limited appearances in the Marvel Comics universe. He is known for his catchphrase, “While Solo lives, terror dies!”.

Man-Wolf,  aka Jonah Jameson III, was an astronaut who transformed into the title character after a trip to the moon.
