who will helm Wonder Woman?

Warner Bros wants a female director for their newly-announced “Wonder Woman” movie.

According to Forbes, their current wishlist features such names as Kathryn Bigelow (“Zero Dark Thirty”) and “Twilight” helmer Catherine Hardwicke.

Mimi Leder (“The Peacekeeper”), Karyn Kusama (“Aeon Flux”), Julie Taymor (“Across the Universe”), Michelle MacLaren (“Game of Thrones”) and Tricia Brook (“The Walking Dead”) are also in contention.

While it’s suggested that Bigelow, Leder, Hardwicke and MacLaren are the frontrunners, it’s indicated that Bigelow’s unlikely to want to do the film being that she has her own things going on.

“Wonder Woman” will star Gal Gadot in a role she reprsies from 2016’s “Batman v Superman : Dawn of Justice”.
