Director Fuqua hits the B.I.G time

Looks like Sly Stallone and Antoine Fuqua might be about to slug it out.

Like Sly, Fuqua’s got a "Notorious B.I.G" biopic in the works – with Twentieth Century Fox lending him the dollars to do it, says Variety.

The Biggie Smalls/Christopher Wallace pic is being penned by former journo Cheo Hodari Coker, author of "Unbelievable: The Life, Death, and Afterlife of the Notorious B.I.G." (and the last person to interview the rapper), Wallace’s mother, Voletta, and the music artist’s former managers, Wayne Barrow and Mark Pitts, will serve as producers.

For non VH-1 watchers, Wallce, then 24, was shot and killed outside a party in L.A in March 1997. Eight years later – no one has been charged with the murder.
