Do Not Harm canned after only 2 episodes

After only two episodes, NBC has canned “Do Not Harm”, it’s Jekyll & Hyde hospital-set series starring “Rescue Me” alum Steven Pasquale.

The show’s premiere episode last week snared the lowest-ratings ever for for an in-season scripted new series, and it’s second episode drew even lesser viewers.

In this day and age, a network can’t afford to let a struggler stay on there which is why so many new series are axed after only a couple of episodes, these days. The past couple of years have seen shows like “The Paul Reiser Show”, “My Generation”, “Lone Star” and “Viva Laughlin” axed after only one or two episodes airing.

“Law & Order : SVU” repeats will air in “Do Not Harm”‘s place.
