1. The first photo from “Dom Hemingway”, starring Jude Law and Richard E.Grant, has been released.
2. The teaser for TV’s “Defiance”, starring Grant Bowler, Julie Benz, Stephanie Leonidas, Tony Curran, Jaime Murray, Fionnula Flanagan, Mia Kirshner and Graham Greene, and set to debut the same time as the video game of the same name (in April), has been released.
3. The Tony-Award Winning musical “Memphis” is headed to the big screen, courtesy Warner-based Alcon Entertainment.
4. Former “Saturday Night Live” comrades Amy Poehler and Tina Fey will co-host the Golden Globe Awards on Jan 13.
5. A new character trailer (featuring ‘The Bronze Lion’, played by Cung Lee) for “The Man With the Iron Fists” is online.
6. “RoboCop” has been pushed back to Feb 2014, while Neil Blomkamp’s “Elysium” is now August 9, 2013.
7. Shiloh Fernandez (”Red Riding Hood”) is onboard Gregg Araki’s “White Bird“, which “focuses on a young woman who sees her life spin out of control after her mother disappears.”
8. Mike Epps (“The Hangover”) will play Richard Pryor in the upcoming Nina Simone biopic, starring Zoe Saldana.
9. Adam Scott (“Friends with Kids”) has optioned Chuck Klosterman’s novel ”Downtown Owl”; the film will likely be one of the first projects to go at Scott’s new company Gettin’ Rad Productions, which he runs with wife Naomi.
