“Entourage” brainchild Doug Ellin is in talks to rewrite and possibly direct the long-awaited sequel to festive comedy “Bad Santa”, according to Deadline.
Ellin, who recently turned in a draft of a prospective “Entourage” movie script, rewrites a script by Johnny Rosenthal.
Billy Bob Thornton, who will reprise the lead role, hopes to shoot “Bad Santa 2” after he wraps his latest “London Fields”, in the Fall.
“Bad Santa 2” is set up at Miramax, where Geyer Kosinski is producing it through his Media Talent Group banner.
