Drag race to get White Chicks 2 on the screen

I may be alone here – just checked… yep, I am! – but I’m a minor fan of the Wayan’s Brothers 2004 comedy “White Chicks”. Maybe it’s not quite “Scary Movie” good (that’s their high point in film as far as I’m concerned; I think of some of the moments in that movie as I type and try and prevent my face from breaking into smile spasms) but as a totally off-the-wall satire on socialites like Paris Hilton, it’s pretty damn funny! (I see some don’t agree…)

Anywho, while the Wayans’ have long moved on from the “Scary Movie” franchise, Marlon says more “White Chicks” is a possibility and in fact there’s discussions going on as we speak.

“We’re thinking about it, actually seriously talking about doing it,” The comic actor told VH1. “It’s the one thing that everybody begs us to do.”

Marlon, who co-starred opposite brother Shawn in the original film, partly blames Australia for the likelihood of a sequel (so maybe I’m not as alone as I think!? come forward, fans!)

“I was just in Australia doing a show and … when I said a quote from the movie, I got a rousing applause. At a point I just forgot my act and was just like, ‘You said it but you were thinking it,’ and it was like, ‘Haaaaa!’”

There’s only one thing that scares Wayans off the idea- and it isn’t Terry Crew’s singing.

“It’s just a lot of work to play white women, because [it requires] seven hours of makeup. God, if white girls have to do that every day, I feel sorry for you!”

Wayans, who recently starred in “A Haunted House” (it’s getting a sequel, that’s a definite), doesn’t say whether or not he and brother Shawn have an idea for a “White Chicks 2” but I assume that’ll all come when they’ve got some time to sit down and watch some TMZ.
