So apparently Duncan Jones, director of “Moon” and “Source Code” and the son of legendary muso David Bowie, has emerged as the frontrunner to direct “The Wolverine” now that Darren Aronofsky has opted to steer clear of Japan.
Like the rest of you guys, I loathed the first “Wolverine” movie but as soon as Aronofsky raised an eyebrow to the sequel I came to the conclusion that Fox might be righting their wrongs with this franchise by – just as Sony are doing with the new “Ghost Rider” – getting folks onboard who not only know how to make a good movie, but demand the end result is the best work they can potentially deliver.
Anyway, Jones has essentially confirmed rumours that he’s in talks to take the reigns on “Wolverine”; check out this chat he did with IGN.
