Edgar Ramirez has stepped in for Gerard Butler on the “Point Break” remake.
In addition, Warner Bros has announced that the film – directed by Ericson Core – will open August 7, 2014.
Ramirez, known for his roles in “Wrath of the Titans”, “Zero Dark Thirty” and “Carlos”, plays Bodhi, the role played by Patrick Swayze in the 1991 film.
Luke Bracey and Ray Winstone also star.
