Eli Roth tackles giant shark flick Meg

The long-in-gestation film adaptation of Steve Alten’s New York Times bestseller “Meg” may have found its director.

According to Variety, Eli Roth is in talks to helm the giant shark film for Warner Bros.

Dean Georgaris penned the script based on the book about a giant prehistoric shark known as the Megaladon (aka Meg).

Belle Avery will produce with Colin Wilson. Gerald Molen and Randy Greenberg are exec producing.
