“Match Point” star in new Stiller/Carrey comedy
The very versatile (only way to describe a woman goes from “Match Point” to “The Pink Panther” in a matter of weeks) Emily Mortimer, will join Ben Stiller and Jim Carrey in the FOX comedy “Used Cars”, says The Hollywood Reporter.
The Jay Roach (“Meet the Parents”) directed film is set in a futuristic, woman-run society where men are cloned and sold like cars. The story revolves around two men who are returned and then go in search of the lost meaning of manhood.
Mortimer will play Michelle, one of the few women who has not adapted to the idea of buying robot mates but reluctantly buys Stiller’s character. Once they connect, they start to fall in love.
On June 11, the ‘record’ button will be pressed on the camera.
