50 Cent really is determined to become a semi-regular fixture of the big screen, isn’t he?
The “Get Rich or Die Tryin’” newcomer has jumped aboard a couple of new projects in the past couple of months – and is now circling another, “Live Bet”, from writer-brothers Charley and Vlas Parlapanides.
The story, says The Hollywood Reporter, is described as a character-based heist film and is based on the actual existence of underground clubs in Manhattan that place bets and wagers on illegal car racing.
50 – real name Curtis Jackson – recently signed on to star in the Irwin Winkler war-drama “Home of the Brave” opposite Samuel L.Jackson and Jessica Biel, as well as Neil Tolkin’s “The Dance”, a boxing film, opposite Nicolas Cage.
