Hot punnet of honey Emmy Rossum (“Shameless”) will join Cinema’s Million Dollar Babe Hilary Swank in the drama “You’re Not You”.
The Hollywood Reporter says Rossum, re-entering the movie leagues after spending much of the last few years playing the eldest daughter on HBO’s crackerjack comedy “Shameless”, will play “a self-absorbed college student whose life is changed when she takes a job caring for a woman (Swank) with Lou Gehrig’s disease.”
George C. Wolfe, last seen mopping up tears after his Sparks’ adaptation “Nights in Rodanthe”, is helming.
Swank’s producing company is shepherding the project; Denise Di Novi – currently overseas overseeing “Mad Max Fury Road” and it’s escalating budget and shooting-days issues – is also listed as a producer.
“You’re Not You” is based on a Michelle Wildglen book.
