“Ant Man” actress Evangeline Lily will be a prime fixture in the next slate of Marvel movies, says head of production Kevin Feige.
Those that have seen the end credits scene will know what role that is.
The actress, who hopes Hope Van Dyke in this weekend’s superhero adventure, will get about in that new role in Phase 3, Feige said.
Says the studio shepherd, What happens to Hope at the end of “Ant-Man” will “be a very big part of one of our upcoming films”.
The former “Lost” actress is a lock for “Some of the films we’ve announced in Phase 3” he added, possibly alluding to appearances in the upcoming “Captain America” and “Avengers” sequels, as well as the next “Ant Man” film.
Paul Rudd reprises Scott Lang/Ant Man for the upcoming “Captain America : Civil War” so there’s the possibility that Lily might also make an appearance in that.
