Fancy an early Vacation?

New Line has moved its “Vacation” reboot to October 2015, releasing the film a month earlier than previously planned.

Originally slated for November 13, 2015, the film will now bow on October 9.

“Vacation” leaves another 80’s reboot, “Friday the 13th”, behind in the November slot and also avoids opening between another “James Bond” pic and the final “Hunger Games” film.

In its new position, the film will open against Disney’s live-action “Jungle Book” and Halle Berry thriller “Kidnap”.

“Horrible Bosses” duo Jonathan M. Goldstein and John Francis Daley are writing and directing the pic which stars Ed Helms, Christina Applegate, Leslie Mann, Chris Hemsworth, Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo.
