We all know there’s millions of dollars made when it comes to the ”Fast and the Furious” franchise and considering that ”Fast Five” made a ton of money when it was released, why not have a part 6? It was known yes, but now there’s a release date.
”Fast and Furious 6” is scheduled to be released on Memorial Day (May 24) of 2013. According to Universal, the film will reunite its ensemble cast ”for their most dangerous adventure yet”. Neal H. Moritz and Vin Diesel return to produce, and Justin Lin is lining up to go behind the camera for the fourth time in a row.
Meanwhile, Universal Pictures has just scheduled its other flick ”R.I.P.D”. for June 28, 2013. Directed by Robert Schwentke, the supernatural comedy centers on on a police force comprised of undead officers, based on the Peter Lenkov comic. (R.I.P.D. stands for the otherworldly Rest In Peace Department). Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges will star.
