Two of my favourite comedic performers of recent times, Paul Rudd (“Knocked Up”, “This is Forty”) and Tina Fey (“SNL”, “Baby Mama”) have buddied up for a new comedy about an admissions officer who gets caught up in the life of a potential student.
The first trailer for “Admissions” attests to what many would already deem, that these two make a great, finely-matched on-screen duo. The film is the brainchild of Chris Wietz, of “About a Boy” and “American Pie” fame, so there’s likely to be as much silliness as sweetness here. Check out that support cast too – the criminally underrated Wallace Shawn, the divine Lily Tomlin, versatile cat Michael Sheen, and Sonya Walger, from the now-defunct “FlashForward”.
