Caffeinated Clint
Though not a huge hit when it was initially released, action-series satire “MacGruber” has gone on to become somewhat of a cult classic. Now, according to star Will Forte, the wheels are starting to turn on a much welcome sequel.
“It seems like we have a realistic shot at getting [‘MacGruber 2′] made”, the “Saturday Night Live” alum tells The Wrap. “We have a loose outline of the first couple of acts, which we’re really excited about. So we’ve just got to flesh it out a little more.”
Int terms of when it might happen, Forte said that it all depends on how well his upcoming series “The Last Man on Earth” does.
“If [‘The Last Man on Earth’] were to ever be successful enough to get a second season, we’d probably have to wait until after that season to make it. If the show isn’t successful enough to do that, we’d probably jump in right away.”
Original Cast members Ryan Phillippe and Kristen Wiig are reportedly already raring to go.
