Indie supernatural thriller “The 9th Life of Louis Drax” has been bolstered by the addition of four new cast members.
Oliver Platt, Molly Parker, Barbara Hershey and Aiden Longworth will act opposite Jamie Dornan, Aaron Paul and Sarah Gadon in the film to be helmed by Alexandre Aja.
Based on Liz Jensen’s novel of the same name, the story follows the titular character who suffers a near-fatal fall on his 9th birthday.
Longworth is playing Louis Drax while Platt takes on the role of his psychologist. Hershey will play Louis’ grandmother and Parker will be a detective while Dornan plays a doctor caring for the boy.
Production got underway on Monday with Aja helming from Max Minghella’s script.
