Caffeinated Clint
A rather dissimilar bunch of actors, consisting of Nicholas Hoult (“Warm Bodies”), Michael Shannon (“Take Shelter”), Elle Fanning (“Super 8”) and Kodi Smit-McPhee (“Let Me In”), are set to team for a futuristic thriller called “Young Ones” (no, Cliff Richard likely won’t be on theme song duties).
Variety says the Jake Paltrow written/directed pic is “set in a violent near-future where water has become the most precious — and fastest-dwindling — resource on the planet” and “turns on a 14-year-old boy forced use his wits to survive.”
The film has been filming since the beginning of the month in financially-friendly South Africa.
