Rachel Weisz plays parent in “The Lovely Bones”
Seems Rachel Weisz didn’t want her ‘Mummy’ – she nixed the opportunity to reprise her role as Evie in “The Mummy 3”; Mario Bello has stepped in to replace her – she wants to be the‘Mummy’.
The Oscar Winning actress will play a mother of a young girl, abducted, and feared murdered in “The Lovely Bones”, Peter Jackson’s film adaptation of Alice Sebold’s novel.
According to Variety, the film starts shooting in in Pennsylvania and New Zealand from October.
